[September 25, 2025] Optimize Living & Environment—Two products of KD Navien, ▲Navien Mat Four Seasons Air and ▲Navien Smart Door Lock, were selected as good industrial design products at the “Good Design Korea 2025.”

Held for the 41st time this year since 1985, the “Good Design Korea” is the most prestigious design award in Korea and is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. KD Navien entered the award with two products in the electrical and electronic equipment category of the product design. Through a fair review, the products were officially recognized for their design excellence. At the same time, KD Navien obtained the qualification to use the government-certified “Good Design (GD)” mark.

“Navien Mat Four Seasons Air” scored high points for achieving harmony between user-centric emotional design and elaborate technology to provide optimal temperatures for sleeping across seasons. In fact, Sleep Hub, the main body of this product, adopts an integrated wavy-patterned design that fits harmoniously with the interior space of a bedroom. It also enables users to conveniently select between “COOL mode” and “WARM mode” depending on their sleeping environment. The “Hidden Display” function automatically turns off the control panel with the exception of the power unit so as not to disturb the user’s sleep. In addition, the double-sided cover made using cooling and anti-allergy fabric does not need to be replaced by season, improving user convenience. Moreover, hygienic use of the product has been maximized through UV sterilization and automatic water discharge functions.

Navien Smart Door Lock (Square Solidity Series) is characterized by a design that improves durability and stability, which are the intrinsic values of a door lock. With the angular silhouette and refined division of the surface adding a sense of weight and balance, parting lines and decorative elements on the front are kept to a minimum to emphasize minimalistic sophistication. In addition, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polycarbonate (PC) materials with strong impact and heat resistance were applied to add to the refined elegance.

User convenience and safety have also been taken into account. Along with the easy-to-use push-pull type, lever and mini lever-type models are available to suit diverse user preferences. For the push-pull type, in particular, power failure protection, magnetic shock blocking, and a fire response system were added.
