[September 2, 2025] KD Navien launched a boiler subscription product. Boiler experts, “Navien Partners,” also provide care services once a year at reasonable prices ranging from KRW 10,000 to KRW 30,000 per month, along with free after-sales service. The subscription period is 6 or 8 years, and consumers can apply for and inquire about the product on the official website, “Navien House,” or by calling 1588-1144.

KD Navien, the industry leader, started a boiler subscription program to provide customers with access to comfortable heating and hot water use across all four seasons. As boilers are typically installed out of sight, such as in utility rooms, the maintenance can easily be neglected. As a result, it becomes difficult to detect performance deterioration or minor malfunctions. When a boiler breaks down, users experience serious inconvenience, as heating and hot water cannot be used. To address the situation, KD Navien plans to increase the energy efficiency of boiler use and improve user convenience by preventing performance deterioration and malfunctions through routine care services provided by experts. There are three types of subscription models. Navien Condensing ON AI “NCB753” and “NCB553” are characterized by fast and sufficient hot water supply, while the Condensing Gas Boiler “NCB354” is a steady seller at a reasonable price. “Navien Condensing ON AI,” in particular, is a boiler with a reinforced hot water function. It delivers hot water in under 10 seconds, or about 93% faster than conventional models, thanks to the “Hot Water Ready System.”

With the subscription product, KD Navien is improving price competitiveness and consumer convenience. KD Navien provides high-quality service at reasonable prices by directly handling the entire process from the subscription agreement to product care rather than partnering with other rental companies. Even the sealed system (up-flow) boiler, which is more expensive than the open system (down-flow) model, is provided at the same price to reduce the cost burden. The subscription period is either 6 or 8 years, and the subscription fee varies depending on the period, product, and capacity. NCB354, a steady seller, can be used for between KRW 17,900 and KRW 21,900 per month based on an 8-year subscription period. In addition, users who automatically transfer subscription fees using the “LOCA X Special SE” Lotte Card are eligible to receive discounts of up to KRW 25,000 per month based on the previous month’s spending, and those using the “KD Navien NEW Rental Plus Hana Card” can receive a discount of KRW 13,000 per month based on the previous month’s spending amount of KRW 300,000. A customer who receives the maximum benefits can use the subscription product without any payment. Upon expiration of the subscription period, ownership of the product is transferred to the respective customer.

During the subscription period, routine care services are provided through “Navien Partners” along with free after-sales service. Navien Partners visit customers’ homes once a year to check the boiler flues and alert system, inspect safety, and measure the thermal efficiency of the boilers. They also replace the “heating water filter,” which filters out foreign matter from inside the boiler piping, and cleanse the “siphon,” which discharges condensate and blocks the inflow of exhaust gas, to maintain optimal boiler performance. In particular, a consulting service is provided to guide users on how to use the hot water/heating system and reduce energy consumption according to their living environments. At the fourth care service visit, the room controller (temperature control), the CO detection alarm, and the fire suppression patch are replaced with the latest models.

Since the launch of “rental” and “care service” in 2023, KD Navien has expanded consumer choices and improved consumer access to pleasant living by providing the routine care service. This year, it was converted into a “subscription” product. Also, the subscription periods were diversified, and the target products were expanded to include boilers, Navien mats, and kitchen appliances. In addition, KD Navien is continuing efforts to improve consumer convenience by establishing “KD C&S,” a wholly owned subsidiary, to bolster expertise for care services.

“KD Navien provides products optimized for consumers’ lifestyles and care services through the ‘subscription’ program. In particular, with ‘Navien Condensing ON AI,’ we will draw attention to the year-round boiler solution and provide our customers with better and more convenient products,” said Kim Yong-bum, Chief Sales and Marketing Executive at KD Navien and CEO of KD C&S.
